What are Little Farmer’s opening hours?

Mon – Tue: 9am – 3pm / Wed – Thu: 10am – 3pm / Fri – Sun: 9am – 5pm

All visitors are required to pre-book a ticket in advance of their visit to Little Farmers. We recommend planning a visit of around two hours. Make the most of your visit by popping in to Craigies Farm Shop & Deli and take a little taste of Scotland’s larder home with you!

How do I book a table for food at Little Farmers?

There’s no need to book a table in advance at the Little Farmers café but we will ask you to use our online app to view the menu and order food.

All food is served by our friendly team to your table so you can relax and enjoy your visit!

Do you have gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options?

We can cater for a range of dietary requirements including gluten-free and coeliac. We also cater for vegans and vegetarians. Simply ask our member of staff about our daily GF, vegan and veggie options.

Can I bring my own food?

Patrons of Little Farmers are not allowed to bring their own food into the Little Farmers Play Barn, with the exception of baby formula and baby food. We can heat your baby formula up for you, please ask a member of our team for assistance.

Can I take my dog?

Only guide dogs are permitted in the café, shop, play areas and the fruit and vegetable fields. We have a small outdoor ‘canine café’ where dogs can stop with their owners for a rest and a drink of water.

Do you have baby changing facilities?

Yes, we have baby changing facilities at Little Farmers.

Do you run events and activities for school groups?

We run special programmes for schools and other groups throughout the year. Please get in touch using our online form.

What animals do you have?

Although Craigies Farm is mainly an arable farm, we have a wonderful family of farmyard animals including goats, sheep, bunnies, donkeys Highland coos and Shetland ponies which you can come and see! If you’re lucky, you might even have the chance to feed them. See our daily schedule for more info.

Are the shop and café wheelchair accessible?

Little Farmers is spread across ground-level and is wheelchair accessible. We have an accessible main entrance into an open plan café, play barn and outdoor areas. Some of the play area is above ground and cannot be accessed by wheelchair, however, there are plenty of activities to be enjoyed at ground level. Our toilet and handwashing facilities are wheelchair accessible.
